One of the main activities of the Rural Press Club is its monthly lunch meeting where influential and often outspoken speakers present their thoughts on issues of significance to the communities of rural and regional Victoria.
The majority of the monthly meetings are lunches, except for a special September Royal Melbourne Show breakfast, and the Rural Journalism Awards Presentation Dinner.
The Lunch format is relaxed, with presentations occurring throughout the meal
